Just got a quote from the local garage regarding spraying my mirrors. Got some m3's from pvd, very pleased. I want them colour coded to the rest of my car, and the guy up the garage said £120. I thought this was a bit expensive, am I right to think this, or is that a realistic price for doing 2 mirrors and baseplates ??

Yeah, I was thinking I might have to do them myself, but I'm not that good at spraying !!. My car is.... flame red ! I already have the paint, lacquer and primer as I recently colour coded the boot button surround, I was very pleased with it, but am scared of doing the mirrors incase I mess it up !

I just did my M3's with idicators myself, took me about 10 hours to do PROPERLY did it over 2 days when i finished work and i must say i have done allot of spraying in the past and the results are as good as any bodyshop will do.
TAKE YOUR TIME thats the key, colour match is perfect too and the cars mettalic
Cost me in total £20 for plastic primer paint and laquer

Place down by me said he would colour code:
Wing mirrors
Arches
Tops of bumpers
Scuttle panel
Running bars on the roof
and boot handle and other door handles
For £150, so just get get your mirrors sprayed I would pay a max of £20. Its a simple job for a body shop, take them 5 mins.

Yeah I suppose that would stand to reason but if you are using a standard Vauxhall colour chance are he will have it in so shouldnt be too much trouble.
I will ring and ask for an individual quote just for mirrors tomorrow and report back what he says.
