Hey all,
just stumbled across ur board, and i'm convinced y'all be able to help. i've got an L reg GSi - periodically, the engine management light comes on & the revs increase. it goes off under hard acceleration, or if it's revvved once past 4500 rpm. my friend has a 1.4 16v sport, which i believe is basically the same engine & his does this too. it's more annoying than anything, but it's driving me mad, plus i look stupid revving the hell out of it at the lights! thanks in advance,
