does anyone know how much it would cost to refurbish a set of 17" alloys, since i let the gf drive the car - it needs it!

U will pay about £35 a rim....so x 4.

U also in most cases have to get tyres taken off then refitted after refurb..

Nah there is a place by me..Mobile guy called wicked wheels..HE DOES NOT NEED tyres removed..
Obviously though with tyres removed will be a better job. But I have seen his work and it looks spot on. Don't know how he does it like wi tyres on..And comes to your house and puts car on stands...Does it in back of a big van..

if they r kerbed at the edges though u weld and put them on a lathe and turn the wheels to the correct shape....

cost me 220 for 5rims done includin 4x tyre removal at £5 each (left one tyre off as was wrecked)

Metal Majic in Barnsley do it for 35+vat a wheel not sure if tyres need removing or not.
