the engines out of a cav gsi and there was 3 little plugs near the ecu which had about 9 wires on in total, i matched these colours up to the plug which was left when i took the corsa ecu out but i was left with a black wire and a red wire with nowhere obvious to go, this is probably why i got no ecu light as i guess this is permanent live and switched live, where should i connect these?
also in this pic, where do i connect these wires up to?
any help much appreciated
Cheers
Chris
oh and it was a 1.2 8v n reg corsa b if it helps!

LOL that explains it, been a while since I did mine but damn sure thats the wiring to connect to the starter and alternator, need to cut and shut the loom as the plugs dont match from cav to corsa, make sure that you do it with soldered joints and heatshrink sleeving, not crappy crimp connectors.

i will not be attempting to drive it with those brakes as they are off a 1 litre nova lol, i have some v6 calipers to go on just havent put them on cus i aint got wheels big enough yet.
ive sorted the wiring now, thanx lads, i used the cav starter loom but matched up the wires and it now turns over and i now have the ecu light. its far from ready to drive but going in the right direction, this is my first one and hopefully the last lol
anyone got any pics of the extended gear linkage?
