ok, i have a corsa sri (1.4 M reg).
The bulbs have gone on the heaters/fan speed etc
I have read cobra148's guide to changing them but still cant figure it out!
I have taken the mfd off and placed it to the left and unscrewed everything etc and pulled the panel away from the dash(as said to do in the guide)
I can see the back on the panel, which the lower part consists on white/creamy plastic. from here I cant see where the bulbs are?
when i turn the heater knobs etc i can see pieces moving on the white plastic, but no place to change the bulbs? I can also see a bundle of wires(multicoloured) going into the centre of the white plastic.
someone please help! do i need to remove the front housing maybe and change the bulbs from the front of the panel???
any help would be greatly appreciated!
regards

If you look carefully you'll see two torx screws (gold colour), its below this and just above the plug/cable for the center. It clips in four places, do the middle two first then the side ones.
I had to do this recently, its no problem once you find it. Look for a long black bar with two metal bars running along it.

btw, its easier it you take off the air ducts by undoing the torx screws and unclipping it (tricky bugfger to get off tho)

Yes after the 97 facelift, the assembly was built differently, and it is impossible to reach the bulbs without hacking it to pieces. A whole new console is needed if a bulb blows. Bloody rip off if you ask me.
