whats the spec on these things?

just had a "following session" with one, focus was marginly quicker from when i was in 4th and 5th, seemed to stick with it in 2nd and third though

The 2L is quiker 50 to 70 than the RS.

ohwell, in that case there no very impressive for a new 2l td then if my 1.5 15 year old engine design isnt far behind

yes but i also have 16's, kit and a full install and a full tank of fuel.

for a 2l i would expect at least 120 bhp and buckets of torque. mine is nowhere near that.

data from ford website:

1.8 tdci, its available in 90, 100 and 115 bhp varients. with 200, 240 and 250 nm of torque respectively.

could of been any of those ones then.

I had the 1.8 115bhp as a hire car and it feels fookin rapid up to 70mph. Torque in incredible.

Apparantly they overboost when you shove your foot down, over 200lbs torque when it happens.

me dads got the 2.o TDCI engine in his mondeo, the torque on it is amazin !!! 130 bhp, 320nm torque i think ??
