I would if I was you - Just unplug the batery for an hour or so then, plus it back in leave it a min..... turn the engine on.... leave for a few mins then take the car for a spin come back, and all should be fine :thumsb:

OMG! u cant re-set the soddin ecu! u can clear out fault codes and thats about it!
disconnecting the battery wont do anything

YES FFS!!!!! This is an old trick that used to work with the old type Bosch ECU's on pre 1997 Corsas. Used to disconnect battery for longer than 2 hours, and its memory would be wiped. It took mine over 10hours before it would wipe anyway, it would splutter for about 2 mins, then settle down. ITS NOT NEEDED NOWADAYS!! car will adjust fuelling to suit the air coming in. Simple.
