Anyone know where i can get a fitting guide or tutorial on how to fit a 2.0 16v. i can get all the bits for £450 and i wanna attempt to fit it myself.

Yeah, would be useful. Got a Corsa shell, just need the engine now.
www.valvers.com was good but mostly nova info.

Engine, Ecu, Wiring Loom, Gearbox, Drive shafts. Is that a good deal??

You also need new engine mounts, shorter driveshafts, new hubs to fit the bigger shafts... There are lots of posts like this. If you buy the PVD conversion kit it comes with a manual....
Alternatively speak to Lee Mitchell (he's only in Chatham) if you want it fitted for you... he does a very good job...

And this little lot will set you back about 500 squid from PVD.

well has anyone got the manual. i wanna know what goes where what order things have to be done in etc. i wnna get a metal picture of everything before i even start attempting it. i could get the engine after christmas and borrow the crane from a mate. shouldnt be too hard. only takes logic and determination.

shouldnt need a crane, lift the car over the engine not the other way round

engine crane is deffo easiest way to do it, mate have a look on migweb.co.uk they can possibly give you some guidence 
as for driveshafts mate if u got a complete astra GTE u can use the actual GTE shafts and just use cross vaux hubs like dan (J100RSA) did. I wish i had done this now
