I know might sound stupid but whenever i hit any kind of bump i get a clanging noise from the back of the car. the box is close to the chassis and suspension. what can i do to solve this ? i tried moving the back box but there ain't alot of movement in the exhurst. any idea's please

take the rubbers off and use loads cable ties with tape rapped round them to keep it out the way of the rear axle

is ur bracket screwed with the bolts facing upwards? that wud elp if it isnt but it may still make a clangy noise.

Dude try undo the clamp on the pipe that holds the back box to middle section keep the back box level and twist the middle section up towards the floor pan as far as you can then tighten up the u-clamp and see if that works...

Buy newer exhaust mounting rubbers, put some foam stuff in the axle to stop the banging noise.

I had this.
Get under the car, undo the exhaust clamp, push the whole lot backwards so theres more over the original exhaust and then tighten the clamp up again. Dont push it too far back or it will come out of the exhaust hangers (The rubber bits).
All thats happening is that the two rod sections that the rubber hanges fit over is hitting the rear panel behined the rear bumper. Moving the lot forward will stop it banging.
