Hi guys, just wondering if I can have your help please with either of the above?

Thinking about going back to a hotel we went to last year just to get away for acouple nights, we've been Preston before but only to the nightlife which was....ok we had to get searched by Police twice before getting into 1 club which I didnt feel safe about it, (they were doing this to everyone), but apart from that it was a good night. OR go to the lake district (windermere or thereabouts) for a nice chilled break, just what's close to do there, only been there for a few work Annual Dinner.

Cheers.

what is it for - special occasion or just a break? Just you and the missus?

If it was just the missus, book a nice place in the lakes and make it a romantic weekend

I'd be going to the Lake District over Preston tbh, much nicer and great for a nice wander. Boat trips round the lake etc, just pretend you're pensioners for the weekend and you'll have a whale of a time

Sorry but im going to have to have a little at Preston or Lakes.

Anyway, Lake District all day long unless you want a cheap, average, student infested night out.

Yeah just me and the missus 13th Feb-15th Feb.

Nah that's fine as said before we went to Preston last year mainly for the hotel was cheap and had a good time. Anyone recomend any hotels in L.D?

thank you.

Sharrow Bay on Ullswater; Samling on Windermere - You'll need deep pockets for both of those, stayed at both with the ex but she worked for the group which owned them. The Samling is stunning; Sharrow Bay is too pretentious

Best bit about Preston is driving out of it to go somewhere nice.

Lancaster is nice if your heading this way and want somewhere a bit more lively than the lakes.
