Hey,

Thought I would start up a project thread, as the title says its going to be a slow one but hopefull when it gets there it will look great!
Its a corsa b sri in white, with a 1.4 sport engine in.
I bought the car 3 months ago as my new shape colt has been written off but not payed for yet!
Cost me £300 and all that needs doing is a new windscreen, there is a hole in the down pipe and a few bits of rust.

when i bought Mo;

Where i have got too;

Plans are the get a post 97 front bumper-DONE
Paint bumpers white with black or anthracite bumper tops and arches
Black or anthracite roof
Lowered between 80-100mm
All exhaust system redone with a 3" outward rolled tip
Single sub build in the spare wheel well.

An probably loads more

Progress will be slow as I have just moved out of the rents and I am trying to do everything myself.

Comment welcome.

Thanks

Jamie

white with anthra roof and tops would look beast! Looks a good base and plans sound good! Not a fan of fully smoothed boot but thats just my opinion

Quick update. At the minute I'm collecting parts, but due to all my tools being nicked I've had a delay on everything.

Heres a few pics just to update.

Changed the theme to white, gloss black and yellow.

So naturally had to sort the engine cover, just needs lacquering.

Heres the cav arb fitted

Also, finally managed to get my rear bumper and arches off,
Rear end was actually in good condition

Until I got to the arches...

And

Until I spotted this

I'm gutted, an don't know if I can take it further....

But I thought, fuck it I will sort all the rust shite out, just gotta save a bit.

Also need some ideas on the rear plate location.

Or

I'm starting to get somewhere now, just gotta sort the front end out e.g discs, new stiff bushes, under brace and find where a little oil leak is coming from.

Thanks

Had high hopes when i opened this thread and seen the 1st cpl of pictures, then as i kept scrolling down all hope was lost. Slowly ruining a good looking car that had potential. White SRi's look awesome with the red bumpstrips and pre-face bumpers. Just how they should be imo. Nice set of wheels, wee drop, and a bit time spent on getting the bumpers back to original black and it would have looked spot on.

Take it it was an SRi 8v to start with??
