Hi, i have a corsa b 1.0 W reg
On the side of my air box is a black plastic box?
what is it, and what does it do?
What would be affected if i remove it?
sureley if an induction kit were fitted that would be removed anyway?

It leaves a about 4 massive holes, will give a good induction noise, might make the 1.0l a big laggy/boggy though

It's called a retsina chamber, its to course disturbance in the air for when it enters the inlet.
the more disturbance you get, the better atomization of air to fuel mixture

cheers bud. I took it off to see what would happen earlier. Made a nice noise under load but felt laggy as hell.

I think ill put it back on in the morning

I took mine off when I had my 12v and never made any difference to noise nor power (or lack there of)
