Hi

i bought some refurbished mint cav slabs and arranged from them to be picked up from lancs to me in london. DHL delivered it when it got it here was a big chip in the wheel and the centre cap had snapped. phoned DHL who accept the claim and will pay providing i get the company i ordered it from to make a claim. however wheelcourier.com have no contact number and havent replyed to any of my emails.
therefore i cannot claim anything at all.

does anyone know where i stand with this matter, asked for WC.com number via directory enquires and DHL but they all say they dont have it, all i have is a email which they dont reply.

If a website sells a product or service online, it's illegal to not have full contact details (INCLUDING phone number) as per the Distance Selling Regulations.

I would contact Trading Standards if I were you, secondly I would contact DHL and explain the situation with them - if this has happened before they may well close wheelcourier.com's account with them.

Also, businesses can have "virtual offices" - that is, a proper business address for paperwork but they don't physically exist there (this is used by people running home based businesses for example - which I suspect is the case with this outfit because of the mobile number on the domain WHOIS info).

I would advise anyone on here NOT to use this website in future.

Also, their T&Cs on their website is a joke - you're supposed to tell people who you are to make it legally binding FFS
