17's on my 1.0Lis it really worth it??
i dont really want my car to be fast as u can tell thats why i got a 1.0l
but i dont want it to get wasted by pensionrs in micra's, so if i put 17's on will it be shit slow??
i want my car for looks and sound. for the time being anyway

Micra's are already much quicker than the 1.0l, so adding 17's or not will make no difference!
If you just want it for looks & sound, then do it, or get some 18's if you don't mind a bit of a harsh ride!
They will slow it down a hell of alot, you'll probs be hitting 60 in about 20 seconds with 17's / 18's

go for 18's then if your really not fussed about performance! 17's are now being done to death & soon 18's will be the norm

the 1.0ltr 12v's r quicker than 1.2 8v and ppl put 17's etc on them without a thought. Ive got a 1.2 8v on 15's and a mates old 1ltr on 17's (Stingray) was still quicker than mine!!
They dont book quicker but r on the rd in my opinion.

if you have a 1.0l, leave it as it is!
dont bother putting a chip in or anything else, it wont make a difference.
you cannot squeeze much out of a 1.0l engine.

no would never bother with engine mods for my engine. I think the 1ltrs and 1.28v's etc serve a good purpose for when ya pass ya test. I mean cheap insurance group, not quick (which if ppl r honest is what ya need when ya 1st pass) Ive had ma 1.2 8v nearly 3yrs now so im looking fwd to something quicker soon.
