Anyone know the typical time to run in a full s/s exhaust.... garage didnt seem to have a clue.... what we talkin like 200 miles or something?

I didnt know youve got to run an exhaust in, I take it you've got to let the gasket sealers harden.

run in was the wrong term, my apologies... What I mean is how long from fitting until its running at its best in terms of sound etc

Could take much longer than 200 miles for that to happen took my magnex nearly 6 months till it started getting real deep, just over time the bafflers in the boxes break down and make it noiser or deeper. Just a wait and see kinda thing?

Yes, this is exactly what I wanted to know, cheers... I think it depends on driving to be honest... im going to be doing 300 miles this weekend, so hopfully that will help

you'll also notice it gettin noticably louder as it gets warmer, may sound quiet on start up but once u been driving it for a while will sound louder too Also depends on how often u drive it too

bit of welding was needed to make it fit correctly, demon tweeks fucked up with the joins between center secion and backbox
