on my way to work and i was approaching the roundabout which joins my street to the A66 when i seen 4 police motorbikes come onto the roundabout and stop at each exit to the roundabout blocking everyone from getting on
then a van pulled up, amoured cops got out and inspected the roundbout, then 3 white cars drove round the roundabout 3 times and headed right
then this copper gave the all clear and then 7 or 8 cop cars came from my right, round past me, and turned off at the next exit. this was quite amazing to see, but then no less then EIGHTY riot vans drove past, 3 or 4 video vans, jeeps, bmws, and then a few more bikes at the rear, about 100 all in!!
they were on their way to Teeside Airport (2 mile away) where Bush is landing soon
there is a total of 1700 cops, 250 FBI and 700 of Bush's men there
they brought their own troops, fuel, stairs to the planes, even their own tracktor which tows things around the airport!!
NO ONE is allowed anywhere near the airport, its closed down and the adjacent businesses arent allowed in, even the carparks outsdie and around have been cleared
hes off to a pub in sedgefield for a meal with blair, NO ONE in the village, NO cars, all man-hole covers welded up, and all the cops surrounding the place
got 3 black hawk helicopters too ive just seen
its like summit off the movies!!

Vehicle owners were told to move cars parked on streets by Thursday evening.
From 0800 GMT on Friday the same roads will be closed completely to traffic.
Drains, postboxes and rubbish bins have been sealed

I dropped me dad off this morning, and saw similar at the roundabout nearest to the Alan F is bent bridge (inbetween there and Hurworth)

i was on the morrisons roundabout, sometimes see you/dad/jonathan in your car going across the 66 towards haughton on a morning

If they'd have waited 20 minutes they could have avoided all the traffic at the morrisons roundabout... gets well jammed on a morning. Oh well, the thickos.

no theeir not the cobra and apatche are 2 of the worst helicoptors ever made. the hawker hind is one of the better helicopters.

didnt see it on the TV but i live 2 miles away from there and there has been FBI around for a few days now, telephone boxes etc are out of bounds too
NO cars in the village, but there is a huge protest in a farmers field a mile away
