DNS - affecting all internet packages
ntl:home internet customers on all packages may currently experience difficulties using the service due to a DNS server outage.
This is likely to affect all internet services (browsing, email, FTP) for all customers.
Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.

I'm having the same problem

Maybe the terrential rain has affected some central routing points tonight? Would be very surprised as they are built to be extraordinarily resilient...

i dunno if the BT DNS servers check against authorised people, but try going to control panel, networking, TCP/IP, properties then "Use the followiung DNS addresses" put in 213.120.62.97 for number one, and 213.120.62.98 for pair 2. If it doesnt work after a reboot, then just change it back to "obtain DNS server address automatically" no harm done. Worth a try
