£400 - I laughed at the guy doing the quote and said no seriously how much. He looked at me and said thats what it cost

So after them entertaining me and telling me a door handle will take 2 weeks to come in from Germany

I went to the guys who sprayed my kit, as they repair Ferraris etc.... I know they'll do a good job and are more than capable they quoted £200 all in and had a handle there in the work shop.

Just thought you'd like to know

jase- when i had an accident my door got smashed up and the quarter panel smashed up all in all £800 damage and my insurance compnay werent even gonna bother repairing the car. i thought fucking joke i could ahve got a door for £100 and got a sprayer to paint it for me for a few quid more.

I could have got a door for £75 from our local Vauxhall Breakers, but the guy who is sorting it said he would repair it, not skim it or replace it because it would ruin the look of the car.

He knows I love my car so I trust him and can't grumble at half the price of Vaux

MK Pikeys destroyed the door and handle trying to get in

After failing they did over the rest of the car park

I fucking hate pikeys, but at least they couldn't get in

THB £400 sounds normal for a Vauxhall dealer or well known crash repair. My Dad paid a place us £200 to respray a bonnet on his porsche, so that sounds about normal with the door included
