The guy I brought my wheels off seemed to get on okay.
He had a 3dr Corsa B, lowered 60mm on Nova springs (so sat lower than Corsa springs) with spacers on front with 16" speedlines all round.
He got on fine.

Does this always happpen? I have ET42 16's? Is that just as good as using 3mm spacers as people seem to be having problems mostly with et45 16's?

no it dont always happen, it depends upoin the wheel design, i have got 15's et49 and have managed to get v6 brakes behind them, they will fit behind some and not others, all depends on wheels design!

Motorsport wheels are usually designed with large brakes in mind, Speedline obviously didn't consider this a priority. If you're worried about clearance with spacers then the best advice is to try and borrow a set and simply try them on. I dare say things will still be OK as rim width is still in your favour.

Your not trying to use the little anti rattle springs on the callipers are you?
Otherwise just grind them down.
I got away with ate callipers under alessios without grinding anything of the callipers.

spacers up 2 5mm should b fine (same as having 16" rims with a 44 offset etc) but 3mm ones should solve it
