are so heavy ive just looked on citroen website my 1.6 16v corsa sport weighs 989kg the saxo vtr weighs 920 kg's and saxo vts weighs 935 kg's

that is roughly 60-70 kg between saxo's to the corsa that is fuck all

considering i weigh 9 stone which equals 60 kg's exactly sorry i no some of u will argue but 60 kg is not alot of weight i work with hydraulics at work and weight is extremely importants i consider this figure to be so small it dont matter

unless im wrong just fed of peeps saying corsa is heavy when it aint, u sure u just think it is coz corsa door's are heavy lol

60-70 kg is alot of weight 2 av over a car with light body weight, say a saxo has a smaller bhp output and lighter weight, then the corsa has bigger bhp and more weight, its basicallt cancellin each other out

875kg iirc

If you have 5 in the corsa, above 300kg (5x60kg), then that makes a difference in my car.

that plate in the car means fully laden with 4 people and luggage

i know 50 kg is alot to some peeps but it actually is'nt that much trust me bet a car with 2 subs and an amplifier with boxes wires etc is 30+ kg's easy

when u actually think about it, it aint that much

this is just an example of my point,
i never used to have a sub or anything so my car was like standard, my mate did he had 3 mac-audio's 12" subs/4 infinity 6x9's with stealth shelf 3 amplifiers 2 6x9's in front plus tweeters etc boxes wires all auxilleries ur not telling me there aint near 70 to 100 kg's worth there and sorry but when he followed me or we took each other on i never left him i would say i only had the slight edge over him!!!!!! so all im saying is yes its alot of weight but when peeps keep saying corsa is heavier than saxo sorry that 70 kg's is nothin in comparison on the road alot on paper not on the road

i no weight is a major factor dont get me wrong all im getting at is peeple will not stop goin on about how corsa is heavy compared to the saxo, 106 etc when 60-70 kg is nothin in comparison on the road

if we change corsa to 1200kg's that is a completely different argument

1000kg in a tin can How did Fiat manage that one? Must have lead in the floorpan.

Had my car weighed at 1.02 tonnes with 1/2 tank. Less fuel, no false floor and it would drop to at least 990kg.

Then lighter flywheel -4kg
new brakes + lightweight calipers -20kg
etc etc...
