My road tax ran out today..... and im not sure what to do, first car first time this has happened
I have had nothing through the post, reminding me that its due, is that normal???
What should I do?? / What do I do??

go to the post office with ya V5, MoT certificate, and insurance certificate, and asked to be raped for road tax....or just hand em £90 or whatever it is these days....

V5 - thats my log book yeah
Dont have a MOT Cert as its a new car only a 2003 model????
Insurance Cert - No problem.

i got a reminder through the post, and still forgot to declair SORN, next letter 'We are taking you to court, its gonna cost you £3000, or alternativly you can pay a £25 out of court settlement......'

noony you need to take your v5 and insurance your tax might be cheaper than mine depends on the gkm mines 154gkm so makes it bit more expensive some of the newer corsa's had lower gkm so makes them cheaper to tax have a look on your v5 and see what yours is

Think its about £98 for a year on a 1.2 and its about £160 on my 1.6 absolute scandle when you think just how bad some of our roads are and not only that the fact that they propper take the p!ss out of all vehicles on the roads concerning fuel tax, Regards Paul...

I've never taken the reg documents
all I have ever taken is the mot an insurance docs. is it different for newer cars?

must be vibrio when i got my reminder they asked for my insurance but he will need to take his v5 if he aint got the reminder

Yeah but I dont have MOT - so im guess the insrance docs and V5 Log book will be enough.....
Still doesnt explain why I havnt had a letter???
Will I get the tax disc there and then or will it come through the post???

Think your best bet would be just to either ring your local post office now and ask or ring the DVLA my mrs works in a post office and it shuts at 4 so u better get yer skates on mate, not a lot you can do though if you cant do it, just stick a note on yer window saying tax in the post like del boy does

last time i got tax was in january, and they wanted my v5 then, i think it came into effect about this time last year...
and noonster, the will give you a tax disc there and then..
