spring adjusters??

i jus did and took her for a back road thrash but shes not the 60mm at the back it used 2 be.. its deffo back 2 40mm atleast

any1 help??

Surely they're just pieces of rubber that stop two or more springs compressing as much??

So with it fitted, you're not going to get the same drop as without??

yea thats the basic idea but i wasnt expecting it 2 sit as high...

handles alot better far sharper round the bends..

i thought you only put them things on for towing caravans to stop the back end dropping so much.

u do yes but as it says its ideal for stopping tyres buffing on lowered cars etc

i used to have them, but the springs collapsed cos it puts a lot more stress on the unsupported part of the spring.

no cos i made sure i got ones the correct size, did you measure the gap inbetween the coils?
it will be alright at the moment, give it a couple of month and the coils will start to sink

there are much better methods to stopping the wheels rubbing.

there all the same size m8?? with a fat and a skinny end to the plastic...

il drive it a month n see how she gets on.. hopefully back 2 normal lowness

well i had 17's lowered 60mm on a 5 door, and could carry a full car with no scrubbing.

first of i removed the plastic archs, cut the metal up an inch and stuck the archs back on, that only leaves the inner arch for rubbing, to do this you slightly increase the length of the bumpstops in the shocks.

the bump stops being the rubber bits between the turrets and the shock aye?

i used the gmax ones they were shite... made funny noises so changed 2 orginals they worked much better thing is iv lost the gmax ones!

yeah its the inner arch, was the same with mine. i used powerflex bumpstops, they are harder compound, plus i got long ones and cut them to my requirements

i used powerflex ones code BS004 got them from demon tweeks, were about 12 quid plus carraige, just cut them to what ever length you require.
