i did clear rear lights and side repeaters although my advice now would be to get a decent alarm 1st considering everything you do to your car makes it more desirable to thieving pikies!!!

was going to lower, then alarm, then b/kit, then interior and finally re-spray, with things like alloys and ice as and when i could afford them.

I live in a nice area and its very unlikely my car will get broken into

I put a new Head unit on, then I put K&N on, and then lowered it, then got some alloys, then a few other little bits, then exhaust etc...

Isn't the car your mum's though Ally?

If you've got 6k kicking around you'd be better off buying something 2nd hand and spending the rest on it?

the first thing i did to my first car was buy some alloys and cut the arches but i had a car before i passed my test, my dad got me a black renault 5GTT about 6months before i passed so the day i passed my test the car already had alloys, buckets, fancy foglights, bodykit, steering wheel, and respray

No one breaks in to garages do they?? I mean they are completley indestructable, I've never heard of anyones garage being broken in to lol, sorry about this sounds so bitchy (and I dont want an argument) but basically any car can be stolen from anywhere(unfortunately)
