when ya trun on the head lamps do they go off or do ya perminatly have blue lights ?

thats supposed to be a pic of mine with cobra's lights aswell, can someone tell me what ive done wrong, cos i thought the pic would of worked then

cobra148, I have a few spare blue led's that I bought of you, could you tell me how to attach them to the sidelight holder, did you solder them in place?

is that blue light always on when the lights are on or is it when they are dim? P.s are they visible if the lights are on full beam

all it does is give ur head light a slight blue effect. sort of

Jonster, they simply push into the bulb holder. The ones you have might be to small if they were in bulb holders though.

Anish, as T44 says, with the headlights on, there is just a tiny hint of blue.

cobra I have a few 5mm ones with resistors that haven't been chopped down. are these the ones that you use?

Not technically legal, but with your dipped beam on they are hardly noticable.

yes i have red ones (as i havea red car ) and they look top i just dont use teh sidelights wen driving only headlights on or off but switch dielights on at cruises etc.

I thought sidelights are on same time as headlights

Ultra Violet..


Blue..


White..


Green..


Red..


This is with dipped beam, theres a hint of blue in this pic, this is because I have cobalt blue headlights.

Led is also on with the headlight, but the headlight drowns the colour out, with just dipped beam there will be a slight trace of the led colour. The white is much better than the standard yellow glow given by regular bulbs, white is legal too

I'll do sidelights for £2 a pair at the moment. Plug and play leds are £1.55 each but I have an offer in classifieds, five for a fiver on certain colours.
