after my annoyance on keeping 1.6 16v or go to 2.0 has been solved my car is now booked in to have torque-tube/arp rod bolts/unichip/decat/and head work done at velos for my 1.6 16v costing 1400 quid all in
it already has 4branch/zorst/filter so power should hike upto 140 bhp if im lucky
it was you guys who said tune the 1.6 so cheez

i started off with bodywork cause the 1.6 seemed nippy, but now it seems slow so i'm getting it tuned.

2lt 16v all in is 1500 and 150bhp STANDARD
and would rape your spec corsa

^^^^ true but u gotta think of insurance costs and when the time comes to sell it.
i wouldn't mind a 3.0 v6 with NoS though

it really depends on how far u wanna take it. personally if i can tune my 1.6 up to 150bh i'll be happy.

umm its not booked in for few weeks yet as im 200 quid short at the mo but i still may settle for 2.0 when it comes to the crunch we'll see

Agree but 1.6 GSI with NOS will rape 2.0lt and costs less than both!!

ye andy hamilton got the 1.6 with tbs joe, i prefer the look of the 1.6 with all the work done to it, theres sumfin about 2 litres in corsa that dont look right.

Although NOS is only an acceleration boost so if your after top end then go with the 2.0 mate!!

yeh ill c i like the 1400/1600 ecotec engines cos there revvy and i like that and thought of it tuned but would be insanely revvy lol

If i started off with a 1.6 i'd tune that but i have a 1.4 so i'm probably gonna go down the 2litre route.

Miles has 199BHP from his TB C16XE engine, Corsa120 me and you are gonna be matched well on performance, we will have exactly the same mods except i got a mantzel power box and an engine with 100miles on it!!!
My next move is the Unichip every thing else is sorted
I say go for the 1.6 most boy racers in there shitsos carnt touch me round my way, the CRX's are good fun to race too

I'm gonna put a V16 18000cc 64valve twin-turbo locomotive engine in my Corsa. It's gonna be sick! Spoken to GM, they reckon it'll JUST fit in, as long as I mount it long ways, smash out the front bar, cut the passenger seats in half and move them to the side. They said that I may have some torque problems though, something about the car "twisting itself like a drill bit". Dunno what they meant by that? I'm hoping for 40000BHP. Do you think I'll need to upgrade my brakes?
