Novas need seem welding or a streghtaning kit put in for anything more than a 2.0 8v
corsas have much more intergral strenght and only need seem welding for very tuned xe or LET'S etc

i "would" say so, as you only ruuning say 10-20bhp more than standard, if you've got the £ i would have the bay seem welded though, "street" off here has had it sone on his xe corsa and it tightens up the front end loads compares to standard

it isnt something that is concerning me, no.
Adam - are you getting a full cage or a rear, show cage?
If i was running a turbo with stupid BHP/torque.... yes.... it would be something it think about.... Aggressive instant power

no its a 1.6 turbo,
purley because vox are scared to fill too much of the engine bay for saftey purposes. well thats the statement anyway, eg the 1.6 turbo has more room in the engine bay, so more cruple zones. this is not a problem for modifed cars, but manufacures are a bit twitchy about cramming the engine bay
