took the wheels off my nova to put on my corsa, front ones wont fit over brakes so had to aquire to cav rims which wasted a lot of time
next i took my wheels off and had the tyres took off, weights and valves
then i sanded them down after buying ford panther black paint for them
also taking the fake studs off each wheel and the centre caps, i have some cool disks which came in my squares crisps which im sticking on looks different!!
few pics, nothing major.....
next got to sand centre caps down, fill in a few stone chips and kerbage, and prime them up ready

nah mate straight swap
brief list of jobs....
cut wings and reweld same pattern as astra wing on ends
cut bonnet back and re weld front part off astra on
cut slam pannel out and bars behind lights and reweld new box section to give support and clearence for new lights
move radiator and horns back
cut bumper and fibreglass new grill and top half all way round lights
rewire lights, new fusebox and relays as astra lights have 1 more bulb per side

mate, i was told to sand them down with 2400 gritt wen n dry but i used 1200 as there were pretty messed up
once they were clean im gonna give them a clean with panel wipe to de-grease them, and then prime away as usual

Cheers Marv. Mine are pretty messed up - ones got a huge chunk out of it so might have to take a grinder to it to smooth it over.

Aye, they're Revolution RFX's - they might have come standard on Sports. Colin McRae used them on his Nova when he was at our level! Good strong wheels, as good as MO's, but a bit cheaper.

Please dont do "another" 2.0 conversion! Do a 1400/1600 conversion or a hybrid engine.

gave up on wheels as i was bored and decided to kick the rear panels out
i managed 2 brake the seal round one window so far with a knife and chissel and force it out inch by inch
im now looking at a line of filler 1/2 inch deep which i need to take off it looks like on hell of a job
rear 1/4s need spraying again so i might as well do full car i think
