Question for ya gang....

Would you rather have a car say a decent reg that is quick and will last 3 years...

or

A car that is older(mK2 Golf GTI old) and have it for about 1.5 years and be out of debt.

Examples of cars for about £4.5K that are fast and will last also please

106GTi, VTS, Corsa GSi. Pick up most hot hatches for that sort of money. No real running costs and they'll last 3yrs.

Don't buy a Sierra Cosworth with 100K on the clock that hasn't been rebuilt already.

You want to reduce debts and yet you want a car like a Cossie/MR2? The running costs are massive on those sort of cars as I'm sure you're aware. What you going to do if it goes bang?

LOL

I'd better clarify a bit i think..The only debt i have is my car now..I either sell it and pay off the finance on it and get a 3 year loan for another car or just pay it off and get somthing cheap and save..Explained it a bit wrong mate sorry..

I hardly use my car anymore so i can afford to get somthing with high running costs.
