Got my car back from bodyshop today, it looks fecking mint, the re-built engine was putin the day it got smashed up November the 30th long time ago lol, it had a few teething problems, drove it home from the bodshop knowing of the teething problem but it is allot worse than i remember, sounds like a dodgey bottom end, bugger got car booked in back at the mechanics but cars off the road till next week, what a fooker, i forgot how bloody quick it was, man its pretty nippy, and boy does it sound sweet oh well moan over shit happens, just carnt wait till problems sorted engines run in and i can take it above 5000rpm all the way to 7500 he he,

Its had new pistons, rebored to about 1620, lightened balance crank, lightened balance flywheel, stage 2 ported and polished head 6 stage valve seats cut, complete re-build, Mantzel Power box, Pipercross viper induction kit, magnecore leads, Magnex cat back system, Lexmaul manifold (Fitted Wednesday), Mantzel super chip (Fitted Wednesday) ARP rod bolts, think thats it, might be other stuff i forget

they also took the number plate light out the rear bumper, thought that was included in all quotes you boys/gals get when you want this done

oh yea just noticed the light has gone, looks silly if they dont get smoothed off when the numberplate is moved i think, looks nice:-)

yeah i knew it was expensive, but rear of car was being sprayed and fooked with at the time, (insurane job hence best bodyshop) so i asked them to do it, being the best bodshop i know it was bound to be expensive,

number plate has got sticky pads on it sittin on the passenger seat, i havnt worked it out yet, or how to light it lol

Sweet mate thats what makes me laught for £300 less u get the same job, mine was expensive cos the only use premium stuff, all the rear of the tailgate has been sealed air tight with this special stuff that cost £30 for a tiny tube it will never sink,apparently

i had same problem when i smoothed boot off, in the end i made a resess in the rear bumper, was a big job but looks tidy now

£100 is such a good price for smooth boot, not amny places will do it for that - i wud say that £400is bout right for proper job, my green corsa is just a fibreglass pannel - i cheated!!! the new cars boot has all been welded up proper way! iaz

all in all it was, bonnet fixed, couple of other stuff fixed, fitting on front bumper rear bumper cut arches fitted skirts and spoiler, smooth boot full respray 450 quid
