I fitted 2 litre brakes today but i'm having no luck getting any pressure on the brake pedal. Me and my dad must have bled them about 20 times but its still soft, it goes right to the floor then slowly gets harder. Problem is after 10 seconds of the pedal getting harder it goes right to the floor again.
Air is still in the system somewhere but surely after bleeding it 20+ times the air wouldve gone??
Could it be the cylinder on the calliper? Maybe its not air tight around the seal?

could also be your master cylinder is on its way out and this killed it?
did u only bleed the front brakes?
u hve to do the whole lot in a certain sequence

No leaks and no i didnt try doing the rears. Didnt think it was necessary. Doesnt say that in Haynes.
Master cylinder? Easy to sort out?

yes you will need to bleed the rear brakes, there is 2 circuit and they go in diaganal, front left and back right on one the front right and back left on the other, bleed the rear brakes then try again. you will still be soft as they always are just shouldnt touch the floor

Sounds like youve fooked the seal in the master cylinder. I HOPE you didnt push the pedal right down to the floor when you were bleeding cos thats what nackers them usually... Supposed to go only 3/4 max. Sometimes if you jab the pedal you can get it to flip back the other way. Are you loosing fluid from anywhere?

^ Agree. When I did mine I bled the whole system using an electronic pressure thing pumping new fluid in, but didn't do it perfectly so bled the fronts again - this time manually - and it worted it.
When I bled it the first time I heard the air in the rear drums.

Sounds like i fucked the master cylinder then. I was following instructions from a website i found and it didnt say otherwise. My dads mechanic mate never said not to go fully down either 
No fluid leakage at all. First thing we checked was for a leak.

it'll prob be master cylinder mate sounds like it from above ^^^^
i would get braded hoses mate, only cost £40, fit em, and then bleed system properly and top up system

If I were you i'd give it a couple more go's at bleeding and then hand it to a garage to check it... What bleeding method are you using? I found the two man method is always best, dont trust these cheapish kits...

no need to bled rears unless you let all the fluid drain form the master cylinder. if you put the caliper on then pushed the piston back in the caliper to fit pads and did it to fast you may well have fooked master cylinder

have your got the calipers the right way up?
as in bleed nipple to the top?
the way to bleed then it
Right hand rear brake
Left hand rear brake
Right hand front brake
Left hand front brake

as beardy said are u sure the right way around ive heard a few people with the same probelm they just had the left on the right and vice verse
think the bleed nipples should be on the top??

PMSL!! Sounds like my callipers are on the wrong way round. How bizarre!?!
I thought they'd be semetrical(sp).
I shall try swapping the callipers over first as thats the easiest solution. Then if i have no luck i'll bleed all FOUR brakes, if i still have no joy then its off to a garage..................very slowly.............

All sorted............Turned out i had the callipers on the wrong side of the car. Why that makes any difference i do not know
Need bleeding a couple more times i reckon, still a little spongey.

Actually you start with the furthest from the master cylinder so on a corsa would be:
left rear
right rear

update....
went out today still pedal half way down before any feel
and brake light comes on when turning corner
got home topped up fluid
and pumped pedal
and there solid now yay
