Rule 96 "You MUST NOT use hazard warning lights when driving unless you are on a motorway or dual carriageway and need to warn drivers behind you of a hazard or obstruction up ahead"

I use them for communication while driving...
i.e. if I'm in a convoy with a load of mates, if someone was left behind and catches up they may flash me or I may just do hazards to say 'welcome back' - or whatever.
I also use them if I'm about to turn off to say good bye - like flash flash on hazards and turn off (or flash flash with lights if I'm behind)
plus the usual thanks stuff.
So if I park up at the side of the road and put my hazards on? thats illegal? - I do that, coz I think its a safer thing to do.

I hate people who don't look before moving from lanes... i.e. moving out to the outside lane or pulling back in...
totally irrelevant.
but today I was flying along, came round a roundabout and onto a stretch of dual carriage way - was overtaking a load of traffic at speed lights were on and I was clearly visible (if they looked) - suddenly as I'm overtaking a car (me doing about 85 mph) they just started pulling out, I had to swerve out into a lane (for turning right) - finish overtaking and then pull back in! (they turned right) - but omfg? they obviously wern't looking at all in their mirrors.
I also have in the past under took - not good I know, but it annoys me when people insist on doing like 40 mph in the outside lane of a dual carriage way when there's no traffic on the inside lane!
Other day I was driving, was in outside lane speeding along, someone pulled out into the outside lane to overtake a car, but after the car (and now inside lane is clear) they insisted on sitting in the outside lane doing about 40 mph, I pull i nto the inside lane and start casually under taking - Next thing I notice is the guy pulling in on me as I'm side by side with him! then suddenly they swerved back.
Clearly they were not looking in their mirrors or just looking across to what is next to them!
I know I was in the wrong, but still - mirror signal manuvour!

^^ cut the essay down to say what i need to say
bit off the subject.. but i hate when u r going round the inside of a 2 laned roundabout to turn right.. and theres a car in the outside lane that cuts into the lane your in making u having to slam the breaks on coz the gaps not big enough happened to me yesterday n i slammed the brakes on n beeped my horn at the woman driving, so she slammed the brakes on too causing a jam on the roundabout its just common sense to look in the mirror when doing sumfin like that! fair enough if its an empty roundabout.. but when its busy! Rant over

roundabouts are annoying too - ones with 2 lanes... I've been nearly wiped out too many times by people turning right sitting in the left lane... I'm in right lane (going straight on) - its a dual carriage way either side and the roundabout is also 2 lanes...
if your in left lane you should turn left or go straight - not turn right.
There I am steaming along, and someone pulls straight across my front!!!
(dunno if this was what you meant!) fucking annoying though!
