Has anyone ever replaced their carpet on the floor, or the material on the roof... or recovered it? I hate the horrid grey colour.

i think the carpet is only held in place by the fixtures I.E the centre console the seats and the trips along the inside of the doors
could be wrong though!
i would like to know about this 2 as i hate the bloody Grey interior
if ya just go down to the carpet shop and get any carpet will this do? or do ya need to get "special" stuff?

I would imagine it would have to be a stiff card backed like carpet, im guessing there is more than just the fittings holding it down as it holds very snug around the corners and curves of the floor, dont know what sort of adhesive would be used mind.
SOMEONE MUST HAVE DONE THIS!

Carpet does just lift out once you have removed everything.

Then a replacement carpet would have to be stuck in, as the original must be moulded to shape.

bet it wont, ull have to stretch it into place, if u want a black carpet ur best off looking in the scrappy for one out of a sport or sumink!

your forgetting the corsa carpet isnt just carpet
it is moulded it hold a certain shape it is made by a press so it fits
i fitted a crpet to a fiat panda
the floor in this is by far simpler and at the edges i stil had trouble cutting it to bend correctly
but im sure with the right carpet and a skilled fitter it is possible but to go down your local store buy one and fit it it will go wrong i got away with mine because i had a simple floor pand to work on
it is a large and tricky job

the roof will be much simpler
take the roof card down and get fabric say balck anduse timebond or spray glue fabric glue and it should be done as there are a lot less bends twists in the roof card
