well this is good
come on the internet to www.draper.co.uk
and £6 later

stupid, shops dont sell the simple things anymore
i mean i was after some simple hose conectors the other day and only 1 motor place out of 6 in my area had them

Yup, more than likely, Halfords do stock a reasonable range of tools and can get all Teng stuff to order, odds are you got a lazy shop assistant who wasn't in the helpful mood.
A good local ironmonger/tool shop would have been able to get one for you aswell.

have you noticed that Halfords is usually close to McDonald's. Thats cos its staff are really Mucky D's. They just double up.

Have a look at machinemart.co.uk or something - get their catalogue as its quite good, either that or email Draper for a catalogue and mail order tools. You often get them cheaper

Yeah halfords do stock the socket your after, but you have to buy the complete set, dont think they do tthem separately......forget about asking anyone there as they never really know their arse from their elbow, i usually end up helping other customers when im in there......and i have never worked there!

I bought the set to do this job (yes, you can't buy the single correct one) in Halfords the other day.
I already had one and didn't know it, but that is a different story.

You might as well buy a set anyway if you intending doing a lot of work on your car. Plus sets are 99% cheaper than buying the parts seperately
