Does anyone other than PVD do these, as i have been told there is a 2 month wait for them. My head gasket has gone on my current engine, so i want to get the conversion done asap as i am driving on borrowed time!

I asked Lee about the fitting kit, i asked if i should just give him the money and let him sort it out, or would it be easier for me to get the kit first. Maybe i misunderstood. Do the people that do the conversions actually use the fitting kits?

but uses the kit drivesahfts/hubs etc

I getcha. Does anyone on here that works for PVD know why its taking so long? Would i be better off buying some parts and trying to source the others, or just wait for the whole kit?

I think they're having trouble getting the stuff off M-Tec, as they are built to order. Apparently PVD are just lying to thier customers about the deleivery dates and stuff, digging them in a deep, deep hole...

surely its the suppliers fault, but i think there's delays on the kits as they are made to order, no point making loadsa conversion kits and then find that not many people fit 2litres into corsas

not sure eck, its very rare i deal with pvd. and its easier to make your own kit rather than pay £400 odd for something you can make yourself

if your mate can weld all you need to do is make a cardboard replica to shape and size and get him to weld it up for ya, thats what i did (seems cowboy'ish but whos the guy with a full fitting kit made for £0 and it works)
