Those people who do not currently give blood and are able to should seriously consider doing so!

this is gonna hit supplies quite badly i think (eg my brother gives every 16 weeks and has a rare type but can no longer do so due to receiving a transfusion when i was 9!)

as fast driving people we should consider the fact that we may well need blood ourselves one day!

Nah mate- when you go to donate for the first time they take your blood donation, plus about three tiny samples to test to see if its ok etc, and then get ur blood type from that etc.

I'm AB positive

I went with my oldman about 5 years ago when he gave, i had to squeeze the blood bag and i fainted. I cannot give i had tattoos.

You only have to wait 1 year after having a tatoo or piercing before you can give, so no more of this "Can't, got Tatoos" pish.

bone marrow ops hurt like fuck, mate had one and was in bed for like the rest of the year!

i cant give blood got a tattoo, otherwise i would. hate needles, but i'd like to think im helping some1, id want there to be blood available if i needed it,

and as for the driving fast comment at the top of the post, just cos we drive fast means we are more likly to need blood

had my belly button re pierced 8 weeks ago, think that counts as being in last 12 months. other half had blood transfusion 4 times when he was younger (in 4 different car accidents - clumsy)
