I want to get one for my 1.2 16v B. Obviously want it to sound good but not give me a headache! What do people think of quality, sound and fit on the car? Thinking of getting the racing titanium oval backbox from PVD whats this sound like? I think it looks really nice.
They list all the parts seperately so if i buy the back box and centre section am I right in thinking that is a full system from the CAT back? Not very good when it comes to engines and shit so any advice appreciated!

oh right. really like the look of that backbox. anyway of getting that fitted by powerflow and they could beef up the sound somewhere else in the system?

Irmscher are badged Remus underneath.
I had a twin square that came with the car from Vaux and it was very quiet. Could be that Vauxhall specify them that way though. It was very well built and fitted well, didn't really have it on long enough to see how it lasted though.
If you wanted it louder you could just remove the centre silencer.

Im shure remus also make a centre section, and the remus "racing" boxes are a bit louder than normal remus ones

Ye thats the one I want! U think I should get just the backbox fitted then see what it sounds like? If its too quiet I could then go to Powerflow and ghet them to make a louder centre section. Like I said though I dont want it to be ear splitting and I dont want i sound quiet. Just a good mix between the two. Considering its the racing one I'm after do u think this will sound good with the Remus centre section? Or still too much like standard?

The racing back boxes are about the same noise level as a Scorpion system.

I personally would get the remus centre section aswell and fit it as a system. I too was going to get one of these, but the long wait put me off.

I'm not gonna buy it if it takes that long to come! Was that from PVD?

There was a problem with supply a year or so ago, but i think its fixed now.
When i tried to get 1 i was told the wait was huge and wa best to ring back in a few months!!
Give pvd a buzz see what they say.

It wasn't PVD i ordered off.
Only reason it took so long was because it was the start of the range and none of the back boxes had been developed.
Think the distributors in this country keep a stock now.
Shouldn't take more than 2 weeks now.
Its worth the wait for an exhaust like that.

remus are. they are quite subtle and resonably quite, not made to the liking of the boy racers off here
the racing one are quality, they have a really nice rumble, bit louder than the normal ones thats all.
