Hi every1, im Dave,19, from Colchester. Just signed up.
Had my corsa for about a month now, swapped my old AX GT for it.
It's metallic grey, 1.4 16valve Sport. 1996 (P) 11months mot
15" TSW Stealth alloys, K&N air filter.
Its not as fast as my old AX GT but the ride is so much smoother and its nice and warm in the car instead of what im used 2 (freezin me arse off)
My insurance didn't change a penny which was handy.
not sure what 2 do with it though, as i dont have any money 2 spend on it.
so if things go wrong i cant afford 2 fix it and also i want 2 mod.
So im not sure whether 2 sell it or keep it, could sell and get sumin a bit cheaper, mayb a 106 and then afford 2 mod it.
or hang on 2 the corsa and slowly mod it, either with a kit or full system 2 try 2 get sum power gains.
im guessin its worth between £1500-2000 but im not 2 sure as im new 2 corsa's, had 2 AX GT's and a metro lol
rite well hi 2 every1 and i'll try 2 add a pic on a post below in a minute, got them scanned in just gota get them hosted now, unless sum1 wants 2 do it 4 me
.Dave.

Keep the Corsa lower it and get it colour-coded. It will transform it for not a lot of money.

ok quick question,
only prob that i've found with the car is the temp gauge seems 2 b a bit drunk, when i got the car it didnt move,
then it would stay at bout 90degrees and then if got stuck in traffic wud go up until fan kicked in then go down,
but lately i get stuck in traffic and temp shoots up fairly fast to 100 and a lil over, fan comes on but temp stays up there, warning light doesn't come on.
then assoon as i start 2 drive a little bit the temp gauge drops rite down like it was getin stuck.
do i need a new fuel gauge sender unit or sumin???
easy 2 do and nice and cheap??
any1 had 2 change this or got any idea what it will b.
if not i'll jus get off my arse and look in the haynes manual but jus lookin 4 ppls opinions
cheers
.Dave.

Meant the temp guage sender,
water levels and oil levels r fine!
but it didn't work at all before then started working and now is a bit random.
so its not doing its job correctly isit??
if it was head gasket it would get hot all the time wouldnt it, its fine all the time apart from when in traffic 4 quite a while,

Chuck a new thermostat in first, its cheap and it will eliminate it as a problem.

Yes, subtle mods not tacky mods.
Single wiper blades, Neon water jets and reg plate bolts etc are not subtle

well got alloys, although there not the best looking 1s, car came with 3 gd 1s and 1 bent alloy so i had 2 order in a new 1.
suspension kit could b a prob as the back rubs already with more than 2 ppl in the car!
the temp guage thing just seems 2 b sticking really as the fan is on, and assoon as i move a little bit the temp shoots rite down 2 90 degrees again,
so basically it seems like the temp is at 90 but the guage just hasnt registered it
