well my car is now in the workshop at work, gotta replace the clutch and cable, thought i would get a pic of some powerflow quality, and also a pic as a warning to people who get 'freindly' MOTs like myself.




^^^^^ i think vibs will like the above pic, that ladies and gents is a supposedly stainless steel system from powerflow, is blowing badly in two places and rotten to the core, note the difference in quality betweem the Charisma rear can and powerflow piping..

the next pic shows what happens when chassis legs start to rust. both have gone, one just needs alot of plating, but the one in the pic is fcuked,it has an 8 inch crack in it and there is no metal to weld to, needs to be replaced, which is gonna cost ££££ not my month really...

What kinda stainless steel do powerflow use? - sorry not really funny, but it does take the piss when they advertise thier systems as stainless steel and then make them out of what looks like to be mild steel.

it is stainless, just not very...

This is y i went to longlife where theu use 304 grade not 430 like powerflow.

1993, everyone at work was very surprised to see it theat bad on an 11 year old car, this is the second corsa i have had, and they both have done the same thing

shane, i have fixed the bumper now, and have just got to laquer the base plate before i re-attach the mirror....

My 1985 Nova chassis legs are fine

In the 90's Vauxhall started using a lower grade metal for the production of there cars.

Gutted for you though

not a scooby doo, its off the original C4RSA, which means its very old (well maybe a few years)
