Are corsa B Sxi's Cam belts actually chains?

i.e. when you need to get cam belt replaced later than if it was actually a rubber belt?

because I remember hearing people say this, but have never actually got it confirmed?

Thanks,

Paul J

I bloody hope its chain driven since I've done 49,900 miles arn't you supposed to change at 40k

I know there is a rubber belt (timing belt?) going round the alternator and up round a few bits, but I don't think it is for the cams...

it was bluecorsasxi that told me it was chain driven...

trust me its not chain Driven i will show my arse on the town hall steps if its chain
cam belt is timing belt
its rubber trust
just do a search for 1.2 16v timing belt has snaped

if a Vectra 2.5 V6 is rubber when i am sure a little 1.2 16 is going to rubber aswell

chain driven like i said is more top end large engines where changing belt is going to be hard and if snaps alot go's with it all
example 200ZX is chain

your little 1.2 is rubber

because they are cheaper to manufacture-no maintenace to customers and the chain driven engines came out well after the last 1.6 16v corsa left production!!!
