i know the sony Xplod's sound like youve got a couple of subs when youve only actually got the speakers connected to the amp and no subs at all! is it all the sony Xplods that are like this? or just a few of the models??
are there any other speakers anyone would reccomend that sound like youve got a few subs even tho you havent!

Sony 6x9 3way sound quite decent, not too bad for £35.

Power Acoustik are the best all round for 6x9s subs amps  american and are amazing sound

This is new to me. Ive never heard any speakers that you could even compare to the sound of subs.
Ive got 2 12" subs as have many ppl on here and i can say confidently that you cant get normal midrange or 6x9 speakers to make that kind of note, volume or overall noise!!

My 6x9s are fine, sound nice but door speakers coaxial - one has a broken tweeter.

My hi fi speakers can reach 30Hz with 9" Vifa drivers (30litre sealed). I made them myself, they are really 3 way speakers. Rib ticklers

If u want sum it wiv bass get JBL power series 6*9's gud for £40 but agree wiv ppl comps are much beta!i have Vibe sub so 6*9's are GONE!

i dont mean speakers that just sound like subs, i mean they play just like normal speakers but it also sounds like youve a couple of subs in the boot!

Get a set of vibe 6*9's and amp them. They sound like you have a sub in the boot!

Im goin for a full infinity setup, already got 6x9's and comps in the front, sold the amp but im surprised witht he 6x9's as there is still quite a bbit of bass. I await my 2 perfect 12's and 2 amps

Corsa_Man, the day a set of amped Infinity 6 x 9's shake me with 25Hz bass i'll lay down and die! Go and LISTEN to some proper bass. This is a STUPID post. The ONLY way to get PROPER bass is with a sub woofer! You can get MID BASS out of 6x9's but not proper 60Hz> bass!!
