Think they are either group 9 or 11, I read it quite recently but cant remember. Very high revvin! Bloody quick. They have around 130 Bhp/ton.

the 92` gti in parkers has a 8.7 0-60 from the 1.3

I reckon 106 would have it 1/4 mile. espec round a track. The swift is an old car like!

yeh the 106 would also fall to bits so that would be another advantage (weight loss)

my first car was a suzuki swift, not a gti but they handle nice and build quality is ok but prone to rusting!!

the 0-60 for the swift is 8.7. the 0-60 for the sport is 9.5. its more of a match for the gsi. could keep up with the gti to about 60 then the 106 would prob pull away

thought Evo mag tested the 106GTi at 7.somethin to 60 me-self?

and a 1600 16v corsa sport has been GPS tracked at 8.7 to 60mph with just a drilled airbox. Vaux figures are cack my friend.
