Getting my 17s fitted in next week or so. Ive got a 14" spare wheel. This wont run with the 17s if I get a puncture will it? If it doesnt then Ill have to get some tyre weld and then I can use the spare wheel well for more ICE.

Probably a stupid question but just want to be sure!

It's not a big deal if you run it on the back as a temporary measure, running it on the front could knacker the diff though.

I was only thinking just to get me to a garage if I get a flat. Just thought Im in the AA so they should be able to come and take my car to the a garage wouldnt they? or would they fit a new tyre at the side of the road? Im asking all these questions and Ill probably never get a puncture!

AA will be very reluctant to recover you for a flat, unless you have no spare, in which case they will have no choice!

Tyre repair places hate tyre weld too, it makes a hell of mess.

I don't and haven't for a few years, luckily I've never had a puncture but I'm sure its only a matter of time, I don't have tyre weld or breakdown cover, probably should sort summat out!
