I think its just the fact that when you hear one people know its a turbo and that it sounds as if its got big power, its more of a head turner than a performance mod, Venom why have you changed the route of your air filter??

sorry to sound like a dumb arse(i dont know much about turbo engine) but what do you gain from it then? prolong turbo life or sumink? guess there is no need on a standard engine, just when you start to tune it?

It `dumps` boost. You dont need one unless your running big power. VTA dump valves cause harm because they fool the ecu and ends up over fueling and can damage the engine.

your turbo chucks out so much boost, so when all that boost is travelling to your induction manifold, your boost control only lets so much boost through, the waste boost cant go anywhere, apart from backwards and thats when u start getting bad lagging, so the dump valve gets rid of it and fucks it off
you obviously control how much boost can get into your air intake,go silly with the boost control and your engine turns into an iraqi bomber

same with nos, it originally had a pure mechanical purpose when it first was thought of, but then fancy NOS buttons gave it a fast n furious reputation
