Wow thats specific.

Here's my guide:

1. Use smaller wheels
2. Use wheels with the right offset for Vauxhall
3. De-bolt the top two bolts
4. Cut away the metal under the plastic arch

5. Hammer out the metal part of the arch, bond plastic liners back on (dont use original bolts) and smooth in.

i got the angle grinder out to the passenger side today. once u take the plastic arch off its easy really to see how much of the metal to get rid off.

dont really know what to cut the drivers side with as there was alot of sparks and the fuel tank on the drivers side is was to close for my liken.

6. Cut the lip off the plastic arch, this is what caused most of the rubbing on mine.

thats exactly what i was looking for!!!

i cut above the bolt holes in the middle of the arch but left 2 of the holes at the front and one at the rear so the middle of the arch is sticking out slightly. but some tiger seal should hold that down.

what did u use to paint it? i just used primer but i think i might do sumthing else.

excellent guide

right, chopped up my arches, and put red oxide on the metal to stop it rusting, and i banged them out gently to give about a mm more space. should be good now.

i didnt have any scrubbing but im puttin my suspension kit on at the weekend and it might have started then. and this way if i ever get 17's i can just slam them on.

would silicone be as good as tiger seal for bonding the top of the arch back on?
