I'm tryin to write a plc program at work but the only computer that has the right software is an old laptop i found in a cupboard.
Its got a nine inch screen and its runnining windows 3.11
i can barely remember how to use it!!!
i have no idea wot the spec of the laptop is but it just took 3 mins to save the picture above to a floppy disk.

I had a copy of Windows 1.0 and 2.0 a while back......surprisingly, I never got round to using them!

I'm a maintenance spark at Albany International. We makes parts for paper making machines. I do basic programming and fault finding. Wouldn't mind getting into doing the plc stuff full time but I don't feel that confident yet as I can go for months at a time without doing any plc work so my experience is limited.
Proper thread digging this btw

My very first PC was a 186DX (iirc) running about half the speeds of the very first Pentium CPU with 4MB RAM, 1MB graphics and a 100MB HDD running Windows 3.1

3.11 was released in 1994 (well 31/12/93), so you clearly dont remember, and need to stay in to research your false claims more.

Anyone got a download for DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11? Preferably Windows for Workgroups as it has TCP/IP stack!
