i realise it sounds daft but when i wash my car it never seems to want to start again after. washed it on monday + i havent been able to start it since
i was thinking that it could be water getting on the tb covers + then been sucked into the engine????? or maybe the fact that it doesnt start very well after been washed anyway + ive flooded the engine by repeatadly turning it over????
any help is welcome
thanks

yeah, starter motor works but ignition is coil, dizzy, leads and plugs. Did you spray water in the engine bay area? Unplug the leads (carfully) and dry them if they are wet. Are they old leads/plugs/dizzy rotor? Are you sure you have the correct plugs (gap) in their?

i didnt spray under the bonnet
i checked the leads (only @ plug end) n they were dry
could it be that ive flooded my engine through turning it over too much? if so i would need to remove spark plugs + allow it to dry out?
cheers for helping btw

Do you have a big bonnet vent? I get no problems, I just block my vents off with a big of plastic over the winter to stop it sucking in water as my filter is right under my vent.
What management do you use? Does it have any diagnostics like DTA does?

If you have no vents how is water getting into the engine bay?
Are you spraying loads through the radiator or something?
I've no idea about the omex ECU, but with the DTA you can check the status and test most of the sensors.
Take a lead of, put it against the head and turn it over and see if its sparking.
