No not saying its not quick or anything...but I was imagining 172 BHP in a car weighing 800kg to be a lot quicker...maybe just me

well due to a lot of hype, people do tend to get dissapointed, it's a nice car to drive though, and nice interior but quite cramped

not keen on them myself. interior lets them down and its a bitch to insure.

Was this a 172 or Cup? Cups are much quicker.

cups arent really that much quicker, theres sumthin like 0.5 secs diff to 100mph

Straight line they are not all that but start chucking it around and its quite impressive. Defiantely a scooby chaser down the lanes.

They are quicker and lighter. Its not all about speed, they out handle 172's as well as being faster.

wider track, stiffer chassis all helps

was thinkin bout a cup myself, but chipped ibiza cupra 20VT's leave them for dust

had a test drive in a 182 last week. cup would totally dick on it, if i was to get one it would defo be the cup. 182 isnt a great deal quicker than mates 16v, plus it didnt go round corners as well.

ST170'S O dear

I had a blast against a 172 last weekend from the lights then around a big sweeping bend the on a straight up to about 80mph.

It was level before the bend then i went ahead..on the straight again and it was level again..

It sounded well nice i rekon

i was in a 182 cup for a test drive with my mate, its fuckin awesome off the lights, faster than the CTR that pulled up, need a strut brace for corners though

800kg? PMFSL thats lighter then a 106 rallye, The clio 172 has a kerb weight of 1110kg and the cup is 1011kg

THe 172 came in normal std and cup. The 182 is the newer version and the CUP isn't done but they offer a sports package which they add lighhter wheels and better suspension to the std 182.
