Was flicking through a car mag yesterday in Asda and came across a large article, it was for fastest car 0-60-0. had various groups like supercar, hot hatch, etc etc, and they recorded the Clio 182 at 6.1seconds to 60mph! it was the fastest hot hatch in the group other than the Alfa GTA, which was like 5. something. Was faster than CTR and a few others in the group, but was very suprised at the 0-60time of the 182. 6.1 is damn quick for a factory standard hot hatch.

What we need now is 1/4 mile times from 2.0 Corsa owners running on 15"s.
If they are doing mid 14"s at say 94-95mph (which should give say a 16-17 secound 0-100) then we know they are BS times as the corsas wont really go below a 6.4 0-60.
But then it depends on the gears. It may hit 60 in 2nd giving it its good 0-60 but slower 0-100 time.

but what if the clios are quick off the line and lack the midrange punch XE's have then that would explain the quick 0-60 time and not so quick 0-100 time? cos i rember someone posting that pug 206 180 GTis do 0-100 in summin like 21 secs?

STFU the clio cup has been tested at 16.5s to 100. the 182 does not get near that
