i wouldnt have taken james, walker and heskey.
would have taken green(norwich), martyn (everton) or wright (everton) and instead of heskey i would take defoe.

Green was ruled out cos he needs an op before the new season
Defoe is on standby but really think he should be there instead of heskey, even Alan Smith who is also on standby...he would work his arse off and what a great oppurtunity to put himself in the shop window for his transfer...no doubting he would be giving it his all!
no sure about Hargreaves...any time ive watched him for England he's been poor...dont see him week in, week out but so Sven must be seeing something at Bayern, that everyones else doesnt at the England games...

They are screwed if they get injuries, no quality on the bench either. Smith/Defoe/Wes brown/ Parker even Joe Cole deserve a place ahead of some players in that squad. You need to be able to bring a player on who will make a difference in their area of the pitch.
