As some of you will know, I've recently had some longer air horns fitted to T499 to try and boost mid range torque and top end power. Also had a new airbox built around the horns to ensure only cold air is drawn in. This box will be ram fed by a specially vented bonnet, where the grille forms part of the air intake, but hasn't been fitted yet. Also had engine bay rewired and dials rearranged on the dash, plus battery moved to rear of passenger seat. So here as promised are those pics!

Trumpets are fairly central Ditch - just the angle it's taken at - hard to perch directly above to get a close up shot

I'll get the bonnet pics up when I've got the new bonnet fitted. At the mo, it's my old bonnet with a scoop above the airbox. I'm waiting for ProTec to get hold of this fecking lowered slam panel - been two months now...

Also looks better if you've had to carve up the dash to fit a rollcage

Thanks for comments guys - I hope to get it along to at least one event this year (unlike last year )

Beardy - yes, the possibility of a shot or two of nitrous into that box has crossed my mind We should meet soon and compare the beasties
